- Hospital licensed for 205 acute care beds, 52 med surg, and 12 PCU beds

- Welcome complex cases while ensuring the team is supported with resources
Responsibilities
- Provide hospitalist care in an open ICU environment and PCU with intensivist consult support for coverage at night
- Participate in the code team
- Focus on delivering high-quality care
- Work closely with hospital colleagues across departments, serving on committees and contributing to hospital-wide initiatives like reducing hospital-acquired infections (HAIs)
Compensation
- Competitive compensation package and higher pay with bonuses
- Yearly average compensation for nocturnists is $350,000
Shift & Schedule
- Nocturnist hours are 7 p.m.- 7 a.m.
- 7-days-on, 7-days-off with schedule flexibility
Requirements
- Comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours
- Ability to work well in a team-based environment, focusing on collaboration and patient-centered care
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
