* Job Title: Internal Medicine Physician - Nocturnist
* Patient Demographics: Adults across all socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds
* Patient Volume/Census: 9-10 patients per provider per night
* Case Mix: Unassigned ED patients, transfers, inpatient consults, critical care admissions (co-managed)
FACILITY INFORMATION
* No. of Beds in Department: 420-bed facility
* Specialty Backup Available: 24/7 subspecialty support including pulm/critical care and radiology
* Support Staff Available: Full intensivist support, in-house radiologist, 3 other physicians available
* Reason for Coverage: Expansion of hospitalist group
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
* Rate: Competitive salary with nocturnist shift differential and option for quarterly bonuses

JOB REQUIREMENTS

* Other Qualifications: Experience with diverse patient populations preferred
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide overnight coverage for ED unassigned patients requiring admission
* Co-manage critical care patients with intensivist support
* Perform admissions, transfers, and inpatient consults
* Work collaboratively with subspecialists and support teams
* Participate in teaching through ACOM and ACGME residency programs
