Nocturnist

The Alaska Hospitalist Group in Anchorage, Alaska, is seeking a Nocturnist to join their team at Providence Alaska Medical Center. This role involves working exclusively overnight shifts, providing exceptional patient care in a collaborative environment. Practice Info

• Join a team of 28 physicians and two Nurse Practitioners at Providence Alaska Medical Center.
• Physicians practice the full breadth of adult medicine, including general medical wards and surgical consults.
• The ICU is fully supported by intensivists who practice within The Alaska Hospitalist Group.
• Providence Alaska Medical Center is supported by multiple surgical specialties including general surgery, vascular surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, neurosurgery, and ob/gyn.
• Interventional Radiology services are available.
• The staffing model also includes hospitalist services at Central Peninsula Hospital, St. Elias Specialty Hospital, and Mat-Su Regional Medical Center.

• Work exclusively overnight shifts.
• Deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.
• Practice the full breadth of adult medicine, including general medical wards and surgical consults.

Requirements

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Board-certified/eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in Alaska.
• Comfortable with a nocturnal schedule.
