Supporting the customer journey from application to funding, the fully remote NMLS Licensed Loan Assistant will manage documentation, ensure timely closings, and assist with borrower requests while handling a pipeline of approximately 30 loan closings per month. Key responsibilities: Gather required documentation and submit loan files for processing and underwriting to meet on-time closings Manage a pipeline of 30 loan closings per month while ensuring compliance with TRID regulations Provide exceptional customer service and assist team members with borrower requests and documentation needs Required qualifications: 1+ years of experience in mortgage operations and/or processing Active NMLS license or ability to acquire one within the first 90 days of hire Experience using a Loan Origination System (LOS), Blend, and/or Google Suite High school diploma or equivalent Proven success working remotely in prior positions with a distributed team
