Client Business Systems Consultant 4Duration: 9 months contract with very high possibility of extension. Location: Trenton, NJ.The Business System Consultant will develop the documentation that is required for enhancements to Unemployment Insurance systems for timely payment compliance and to Temporary Disability Insurance and Family Leave Insurance based on recent mandates.The BSC contractor will work as part of a team who will be re-writing a system from VB to JAVA. DOL is looking for a well seasoned BSC candidate with experience working on technical application projects and who has excellent communication skills.The Business System Consultant will develop documentation including business and user requirements, traceability matrix, business or system use cases, report(s), process flow diagrams, quality assurance techniques, workflow improvements and training guides.

Individuals in this position have demonstrated experience in the standard concepts, practices and deliverables related to business analysis in support of software development projects.Candidate understands how to gather and document requirements.Candidate has a working knowledge of the software development lifecycle.Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Some familiarity with the use of standard market testing tools.
