Data Warehouse AnalystPosition Overview: The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a data warehouse environment facilitating requirements gathering sessions, documenting requirements, analyzing and evaluating possible solutions to meet requirements. Evaluates existing systems and/or user needs to analyze, design, recommend, and implement information system changes.
Experience developing and maintaining ongoing customer required reporting in various BI tools (WebFocus/Tableau) is needed.Relevant Work Experience: 5 to 8 years Preferred Education: 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study or advanced degreeKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Responsible for the development, implementation, enhancement support of operational and customer reporting informationProficient in SQLMine large datasets and draw actionable insightsWork to align data set attributes/fields across different systems to ensure common connection points are in place when connecting, and blending data sets.Support developing and maintaining ongoing customer required reporting in various BI tools (WebFocus/Tableau)Mine and analyze large datasets, draw valid inferences and present them successfully to management using a reporting tool.Understanding of statistical principles, and able to apply them in data analytics Develop records management processes and policiesIdentify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processesIdentify, evaluate and implement external services and tools to support data validation and cleansing.Document current contents of data warehouse including plain-English descriptions and mapping back to data entry screens.Prepare requirements for new data warehouse table/structure, including summary information optimized for reporting.
