Richmond University Medical Center (RUMC), an award-winning 470+ bed healthcare facility and teaching institution, is seeking an Anesthesiologist to join its team in Staten Island, NY. This role involves providing comprehensive anesthesia care across a wide range of surgical procedures. • Case assignments include acute, medical and surgical care, emergency care, surgery, minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery, gastroenterology, cardiology, pediatrics, podiatry, endocrinology, urology, oncology, orthopedics, neonatal intensive care and maternal health

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Compensation

• Salary: $560,000
• Sign on Incentive: $100,000

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
• BE or BC
• Current medical licensure
• ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
