Night Float Anesthesiologist

Northern Dutchess Hospital, part of the Nuvance Health™ system, is seeking a Night Float Anesthesiologist to join their team in Rhinebeck, NY. This opportunity offers a unique 26 weeks on/26 weeks off schedule, providing comprehensive anesthesia care across a variety of surgical procedures. • Part of the Nuvance Health™ system, which includes seven hospitals and several outpatient facilities

• Case assignments include Endo, ortho, general, OB, ENT, uro, and chronic pain

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Compensation

• Salary: $475,000
• Sign-on Incentive: Up to $100,000

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
• BE or BC
• Current medical licensure
• ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
