Night Float Anesthesiologist

Garnet Health Medical Center in Middletown, NY, is seeking a night float anesthesiologist to join their team. The position involves providing comprehensive anesthesia care for a diverse range of cases.

• Nonprofit medical center with more than 2,400 healthcare professionals, including over 600 doctors
• 383-bed facility
• Case assignments include Endo, general, ortho, labor and delivery, radiology, URO, vascular, GYN, ENT, neuro, and plastics

Responsibilities

• Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
• Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Compensation

• Salary: $600,000
• Up to $100,000 sign-on package

• 7 on, 7 off
• 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Requirements

• M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
• ECFMG and FLEX
• Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
• Currently licensed as a physician
