This position plays a critical role in both guest service and financial accuracy, ensuring a smooth overnight experience for guests and preparing the hotel's systems and reports for the next business day. The ideal candidate is dependable, calm under pressure, comfortable working independently, and committed to delivering excellent hospitality during overnight hours.Essential Job FunctionsWelcome guests with friendly and professional service during overnight hoursPerform guest check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficientlyRespond to guest requests, questions, and concerns in a timely mannerComplete the nightly audit process, including balancing room revenue, payments, and daily transactionsReview and reconcile guest folios, house accounts, credit card settlements, and cash depositsRun end-of-day reports and distribute reports to hotel leadership and department headsVerify reservations, room status, no-shows, routing, and billing accuracyPrepare the property management system for the next business dayMonitor lobby activity and hotel entrances overnight to ensure guest safety and securityHandle phone calls, late arrivals, airline crew arrivals, and overnight guest assistanceCommunicate overnight incidents, maintenance concerns, and guest issues clearly in shift notes for morning follow-upMaintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby areaFollow all Hilton brand standards, hotel policies, and safety proceduresQualificationsPrevious hotel front desk or night audit experience preferredExperience with Hilton systems or hotel PMS preferredStrong customer service and communication skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyBasic accounting, cash handling, and reconciliation skillsComfortable working independently overnight with minimal supervisionAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentMust be dependable and able to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidaysMust be able to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbsWhat We're Looking ForStrong sense of accountabilityPositive attitude and professional appearanceStrong problem-solving skillsAbility to remain calm and service-focused overnightTeam player with flexibility to support front office operations as needed
