Apply today to join our Rockstar team at Hotel Covington!Job Requirements:Greet guests who arrive to the hotel by welcoming them to the hotelUnderstand guest service needs and exceed guest expectations by taking advantage of opportunities to add a special touchHandle guests' check-ins/check-outs in accordance with hotel standards in an efficient and friendly mannerCoordinate the delivery of luggage to guestrooms upon check-in and pick up upon departureProvide recognition to repeat guestsMaintain and adhere to hotel policies regarding cash banks and make daily deposits with accurate report of receipts dailyEnsure the accuracy and balance of front office accounting records and prepare summaries of financial data on a daily basisAbility to work without direct supervisionDemonstrate a high degree of drive and determinationProperly handle and reports associate and guest accidentsMaintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standardsAssist with responsibilities and duties in other departments and as assigned by managementDue to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, associates may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotelMinimum of 1 year of experience in guest services and/or night audit preferredDemonstrate strong reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English languageDemonstrate strong computer skillsMust have valid Drivers LicensePhysical Demands:Continuous standing/walking 100% of the shiftLifting/carrying required up to 70 lbsPushing/pulling required up to 200 lbsBending/kneeling required frequentlyComputer use 75% of the timeHotel Covington does not discriminate on the basis of disability, veteran status or any other basis protected under federal, state or local laws.
