What You'll Do
- Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and families
- Communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Respect patients' values, preferences, and expressed needs
- Collect and analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses
- Develop and modify individualized care plans
- Coordinate care delivery and transitions in care
- Promote health and a safe environment through health teaching
- Evaluate progress toward attainment of health outcomes
Requirements
Education:- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred
- 2 years RN experience required
- NICU or Women & Children's experience preferred
- Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
- Current BCLS certification or must obtain within one month of hire
- Clinical specialty certification highly encouraged
