We are committed to a safe work environment sending every person home safe and healthy every day and leaving a sustainable legacy on our host communities.Responsibilities:Successfully execute capital projects within existing framework to meet business needEvaluate and prioritize prospective projects, including:Commission and evaluate trade-off studiesDevelop project schedules and budgets at appropriate detailDevelop and review financial assessments in coordination with Finance partnersEnsure projects meet company investment filtersPrepare and motivate project approvalsSupport safety culture to execute projects with zero-harmManage consultants, vendors, and contractors to drive project executionDirect engineering process to deliver fit for purpose design that meets business needSupport procurement process, including:Coordinate and communicate procurement strategiesDevelop work scopes and bid packagesComplete technical and commercial reviewParticipate in bid clarifications and negotiationsRecommend contract award and seek necessary approvalsIdentify, mitigate, monitor, and respond to risks affecting project executionCoordinate and communicate with project stakeholdersManage capital spend, report variance, and adjust forecasts monthlyReport project status and risk to stakeholders and senior leadershipIdentify continuous improvement initiatives and develop plans to deliver value savingsOversee execution for multiple projects across different sitesMentor young and developing project engineersPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in engineering or a related field requiredProject Management Professional certificate or Professional Engineer licensure preferredMinimum 10 years' experience in progressive project management, engineering design, and construction management preferredSupervisory and leadership experience preferredStrong understanding of project management techniques requiredTechnical capability in engineering design preferredExperience with capital and project management systems preferredData and business analysis skills to conduct preferredThank you for your application, however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
