AdventHealth for Children and AdventHealth Medical Group are seeking a Newborn Hospitalist to join their team at AdventHealth Celebration. This full-time employed position offers an exceptional 7-on/7-off schedule with weekday coverage, focusing on newborn medicine in a family-centered environment. The role involves collaborating with various medical teams within a nationally recognized pediatric network.
Practice Info
- Provide care for well newborns at AdventHealth Celebration.
- Assigned as a member of the neonatal team, including neonatologists and neonatal practitioners.
- Work closely with obstetric, community pediatricians, and newborn nursing teams.
- Practice at AdventHealth Celebration, a 317-bed state-of-the-art hospital.
Responsibilities
- Newborn admissions, daily rounds, and discharge management.
- Comprehensive well newborn care and family education.
- Newborn stabilization and coordination of transfers to higher levels of care when indicated.
- Collaboration with community pediatricians, nursing staff, and neonatal specialists.
- Participation in quality and patient safety initiatives.

Shift & Schedule
- Full-time employed position.

Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
- Eligible for Florida medical licensure.
- Interest or experience in newborn medicine, newborn nursery care, or pediatric hospital medicine.
- Commitment to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
