To support a growing team, the fully remote New York Workers Compensation Trainee will engage in a 6-month paid immersive learning experience, focusing on claims management and client service excellence through structured learning, mentorship, and hands-on application of skills. Key responsibilities: Participate in structured learning, including instructor-led sessions and job shadowing to build foundational knowledge in insurance and claims operations Shadow experienced claims professionals and progressively take ownership of indemnity workers' compensation claims under supervision Engage in professional communication with clients and stakeholders to support empathetic and outcome-focused claims handling Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree or 4-year degree from an accredited institution preferred GPA of 3.5 or higher preferred; other candidates with proven experience will be considered Familiarity with M365 products, including Outlook, Word, and basic Excel and PowerPoint Active listening skills and a problem-solving mindset Adaptability to changes in procedures and technology
