New York Pharmacy Technician

To support a high-volume inbound call center, the fully remote New York Pharmacy Technician will assist members and healthcare professionals with the prior authorization process, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with established criteria during the Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM CST. Key Responsibilities Handle a high volume of inbound calls from members, providers, and healthcare professionals Review clinical documentation for completeness and adherence to established criteria Accurately document approvals, denials, and case information in a timely manner Required Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience, preferably in an administrative support or call center environment Strong knowledge of pharmacy terminology, medication processes, and prior authorization workflows Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with multiple systems and documentation Reliable attendance and commitment to the full mandatory training period Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required; certification or state licensure preferred
