Providing underwriting support for residential New York properties and commercial transactions, the full-time New York Licensed Title Underwriter will assess title insurance commitments and policies while working remotely. Key responsibilities Provide underwriting support, counsel, and authorization related to real estate title insurance commitments and policies Utilize underwriting standards and guidelines to underwrite the issuance of title insurance within delegated authority limits Guide company personnel in the performance of real estate settlement services Required qualifications 3 years of title underwriting experience, preferably with residential New York properties and commercial transactions Familiarity with New York condominium transactions Strong understanding of real estate law and the title and settlement process High School Diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred Strong analytical skills and business acumen
