New York Licensed STD Case Manager

To support a growing team, the full-time Associate STD Case Manager will make timely and accurate Short-Term Disability claim decisions, proactively gather relevant information, and maintain high levels of customer service while working in a hybrid remote environment. Key responsibilities Make customer-focused claim decisions by analyzing relevant clinical, vocational, and financial information Provide empathetic customer service to earn trust and anticipate claimant needs Collaborate with team members to foster a positive work environment and maintain operational standards Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred 1-3 years of experience in STD claims preferred Knowledge of STD, SDI, and Absence Management products and relevant regulations Understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and pathology preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Claim Vantage experience is a plus
