Supporting a high-volume inbound call environment, the remote New York Licensed Pharmacy Technician will manage prior authorization processes, assist members and healthcare professionals, and ensure accurate documentation of approvals and denials. Key Responsibilities Handle approximately 60-100 inbound calls per day, guiding callers through the prior authorization process Review clinical documentation for completeness and eligibility, documenting all call activity in a timely manner Escalate complex inquiries and clinical questions to the pharmacist for further evaluation Required Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience, preferably in an administrative support or call center environment Minimum of 1 year of high-volume customer service or call center experience; healthcare experience is preferred Pharmacy Technician certification or state licensure is preferred but not required Verifiable high school diploma or GED required Strong computer skills, including the ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously
