Managing high-exposure general liability and excess liability claims, the full-time remote New York Licensed Complex Liability Adjuster will investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex claims while collaborating with defense counsel, insureds, and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex General Liability and Excess Liability claims, including high-exposure bodily injury and litigated matters Analyze coverage, liability, damages, and exposure to develop effective claim strategies Manage litigated claims in partnership with defense counsel, overseeing all aspects from pleadings to trial preparation Required Qualifications 7-10+ years of experience handling complex, high-exposure General Liability and/or Excess Liability claims Active New York Adjuster license required, along with Resident or Non-Resident State Licensing Demonstrated experience managing litigated casualty claims from inception through resolution Strong knowledge of liability coverage, tort law, and claims handling best practices Proficiency with claims management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
