Offering a flexible opportunity, a New Mexico Licensed Optometrist will conduct remote eye examinations and generate prescriptions using patented technology, either on a full-time or part-time basis as an Independent Contractor. Key responsibilities Examine patients remotely in compliance with New Mexico state regulations Utilize specialized video conferencing technology to communicate with patients Collaborate with Ophthalmic Technicians to analyze eye health and prescribe eyewear Required qualifications Current New Mexico state license as a Doctor of Optometry Experience with tele-optometry or remote patient care is preferred Ability to work independently as a contractor Multiple state licenses are a plus Willingness to undergo credentialing and training as needed
