To support a growing practice in addiction medicine, the full-time New Mexico Licensed Nurse Practitioner will provide virtual patient care, including clinical assessments and medication management for individuals with substance use disorders. Key Responsibilities Provide clinical assessment, diagnosis, and ongoing management of patients seeking Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) for opioid or alcohol use disorder through Telehealth Prescribe and monitor MAT medications, ensuring appropriate dosing and adherence while monitoring for potential side effects Conduct comprehensive assessments, including medical histories and diagnostic evaluations, to assess patient needs and treatment progress Required Qualifications Master's or Doctoral degree in nursing (APRN), physician assistant (PA), or a related field Active, unrestricted state license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA), with active DEA registration Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, with at least 0.5 years in addiction medicine, specifically in MAT clinics In-depth knowledge of MAT protocols and treatment for opioid, stimulant, benzodiazepine, and alcohol use disorders Strong Telehealth background and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
