We are seeking a Restaurant Manager to join our team!You will be responsible for providing customers with the above mentioned experience, in addition to ensuring the restaurant exceeds performance standards, while growing and developing your team.***This position is for a pool of applicants, for our NEW locations in the McAllen area****Responsibilities:Lead and direct the work of the management team including scheduling, assigning responsibilities and setting expectationsManage performance of the management team, including performance evaluations, coaching and accountabilityPlan and implement weekly, monthly and yearly financial budgetsHire, train, retain, and develop team members to take on larger rolesDrive guest engagement within the four walls of the restaurant while developing relationships within the communityDrive business results by utilizing KUMORI/MORI's systems to effectively control costsPerforms restaurant opening and/or closing dutiesKeep records required by government agencies regarding sanitation or food subsidiesMaintain food and equipment inventories, and keep inventory records.Monitor food preparation methods, portion sizes, and garnishing and presentation of food to ensure that food is prepared and presented in an acceptable mannerInvestigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality, service, or accommodations.Role model and hold team members accountable to operational and quality standardsFoster open communication between team members and management teamInfluence team member behaviors by championing change and restaurant initiativesCommunicate and embody KUMORI Group cultureCreate and adjust staff schedules to meet restaurant needsAdhere to all safety and sanitation regulationsReach KPI goals - inventory control, cost control, overtime controlBuilds diversity, equity, and inclusion as part of our culture; celebrates team members' differences as they make us strongerAssisting other locations when needed.Other duties assignedQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required.Management or related fields are preferred Minimum of three (3) years of restaurant management experience, experience running shifts without supervisionRequired to work a minimum 5 day workweek including irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidaysKnowledge of interviewing and selection practicesKnowledge of federal and state labor laws as well as local health and sanitation laws and regulationsLeadership and supervisory practices and skills; effective verbal and written communication skillsBasic accounting and computer skillsAbility to follow directions and work with autonomy once given directions; ability to multi-task and successfully solve problemsProblem solving, decision-making and conflict-resolution skillsWillingness to abide by the appearance, uniform and hygiene standards at KUMORI Group restaurants.Software Skills:Point of sale POS software - a mustWord processing software - Google Drive - PreferredExcel - a mustBenefits:Performance-based bonusEmployee discountHealth Insurance, dental, visionPaid time off (PTO)Salary Range starts at $45k to $55K yearlySales bonusOther BonusJob Type: Full-time
