Providing culturally competent peer support services, the per diem New Jersey Military Peer Support Specialist III will engage with individuals contacting the Call Center, assess service needs, and offer appropriate referrals while documenting interactions in a timely manner. Key responsibilities Engage individuals in an empathic manner to provide customer-friendly services Review service requests and respond according to departmental procedures Document all contacts and interventions in compliance with established policies Required qualifications High School diploma or equivalent At least three (3) years of active duty service or relevant military experience Ability to use a computer for service recording and basic office functions Demonstrated capacity to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
