Providing person-centered and culturally competent services, the part-time New Jersey Licensed Peer Support Specialist will engage with individuals contacting the Call Center, offering peer support and appropriate referrals while documenting interactions in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Engage individuals served in an empathic and concerned manner, providing customer-friendly services Review service requests and referrals, responding according to departmental procedures Document contacts and interventions in a timely manner in accordance with established policies Required qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required At least three (3) years of experience caring for older adults with dementia or significant medical issues Two (2) years of experience specifically working with dementia patients and their families Demonstrated ability to use a computer for recording services and basic office functions Ability to work independently and as part of a team
