Leading the coding function for a growing healthcare organization, the full-time remote New Jersey Licensed Coding Director will oversee coding processes, ensure compliance with regulations, and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders while maximizing revenue and quality outcomes. Key responsibilities Develop and oversee an effective coding function to ensure best practices and maximize revenue Ensure efficient operation of external coding vendors and streamline coding and compliance processes Analyze reports related to accounts receivable and denials, addressing issues to improve coding operations Required qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher preferred, or equivalent 8-10 years of relevant experience Minimum 5 years of experience in billing/coding management CPC through AAPC or CCS-P through AHIMA required Demonstrated excellent Microsoft Excel skills In-depth knowledge of revenue cycle management, medical coding, and compliance guidelines
