• Handle more than 1,100 civil jury trials, 400 civil appeals, 250 bench trials, and 30,000 mediations firm‑wide.
• Work across a broad range of insurance defense matters, including trucking, transportation, catastrophic injury, construction defect, premises liability, first‑party property, and complex tort litigation.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied insurance defense caseload from inception through resolution.
• Handle matters involving trucking and transportation accidents, personal injury, premises liability, construction defect, and first‑party property claims.
• Take and defend depositions, attend hearings, draft motions, and participate in mediations.
• Assist with trial preparation and develop into a strong trial lawyer within a respected Texas defense platform.
• Work closely with experienced litigators in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of litigation experience preferred, though more experienced candidates will also be considered.
• Insurance defense background strongly preferred.
• Experience with trucking, transportation, personal injury, premises liability, or construction defect matters highly desirable.
• Personable, sharp, proactive, and comfortable thinking on their feet in depositions, court appearances, and mediations.
• Strong work ethic and genuine interest in developing within a trial-focused practice.
