Responsibilities

Analyze insurance policies and advise insurers on complex coverage issues
Draft detailed coverage opinions
Defend carriers in bad faith and declaratory relief actions
Manage your own caseload with support from experienced partners
Handle depositions, discovery, strategy, and dispositive motion work

Qualifications

1+ years of experience in insurance coverage and/or bad faith litigation defense
OR 3+ years of general litigation defense experience with a strong interest in this space
Strong legal writing and analytical skills
Demonstrated independence, excellence, and a collaborative work approach

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary up to $200,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
Profit-sharing bonus structure: $145/hour on all net billables above 1,600 hours
Discretionary bonus potential (many associates have received five-figure bonuses annually)
