What You'll Do
- Deliver exceptional care throughout the patient care journey.
- Interact directly with patients and their families to enhance their experience.
- Provide healthcare education as needed.
- Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care.
- Initiate and/or maintain interventions to assure continuity of safe/effective care.
- Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions.
- Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when necessary.
- Document in patients’ medical records.
- Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
- Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
Requirements
Education
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program) required.
Experience
- New graduate RN or less than one year of RN work experience required.
Licenses & Certifications
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
