The New Grad RN Resident in the Neurosciences unit provides direct nursing care to complex neurological patients while participating in a residency core curriculum tailored to individual learning needs.

What You'll Do
- Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
- Provide direct nursing care alongside a coach.
- Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care activities.
- Initiate and/or maintain interventions for safe and effective patient care.
- Respond to data indicating risk to individual health and take corrective action.
- Seek supervision and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently.
- Comply with established hospital and department personnel policies.
- Document in patient's medical record according to established guidelines.
Requirements
- Education:
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- BSN preferred.
- Experience:
- New grad or less than one year of RN work experience.
- Licenses & Certifications:
- Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN).
- Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification may be required based on work area.
