What You’ll Do
- Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
- Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
- Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care.
- Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions.
- Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently.
- Document in patients’ medical records.
Requirements
Education
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program) required
Experience
- New graduate RN or less than one year of RN work experience required
Licenses & Certifications
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required upon hire or within one year
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required upon hire or within one year
- Completion of Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) required upon hire or within 24 months
