What You’ll Do

• Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care.
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions.
• Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently.
• Document in patients’ medical records.

Requirements

Education

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program) required

Experience

• New graduate RN or less than one year of RN work experience required

Licenses & Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required upon hire or within one year
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required upon hire or within one year
• Completion of Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) required upon hire or within 24 months
