Engineering Project CoordinatorAs an Engineering Project Coordinator, you will assist in managing project submittals, tracking production timelines, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring seamless project execution. This role requires a dynamic professional who can multitask effectively while maintaining precision and organization.You'll interact with a wide range of stakeholders—contractors, field teams, government agencies, and internal departments—via email, phone, and in person.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Coordination & SubmittalsInterpret and analyze blueprints, schematics, and technical drawingsReview job scope and specifications prior to submittalCreate, manage, review, and approve submittal packagesCompose and send submittals for approval and manage correspondenceObtain and track signed approvals for equipment, drawings, and site requirementsProject Tracking & ExecutionMonitor and track production timelines to ensure timely completionMaintain and update project spreadsheets dailyEnsure all project documentation is accurate, current, and properly storedRelease equipment to manufacturers for productionCoordinate and schedule project deliveriesCommunication & CollaborationServe as a key point of contact for field supervisorsCommunicate directly with contractors, owners, and government agencies (e.g., Corps of Engineers, NAVFAC)Collaborate with design teams, consultants, and architectsTechnical & Design SupportAssist in designing elevator layouts for various applicationsPrepare and submit documentation for government projectsDevelop knowledge of industry codes and standards (A17.1, A18.1, B20, ADA)Additional DutiesPerform other responsibilities as assigned to support project successQualificationsHigh School Diploma required; some college coursework preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and AdobeExperience maintaining organized digital filing systemsFamiliarity with elevator systems preferred2D/3D drafting experience preferredKnowledge of industry codes and standards is a plusExperience with Microsoft 365 toolsSkills & AbilitiesStrong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentAbility to read and interpret blueprints, codes, and technical documentsStrong interpersonal and problem-solving skillsReliable with excellent attendance and punctualityEffective communicator with cross-functional teamsFlexible and adaptable to changing priorities and deadlinesStrong 2D drafting skills preferredWhy Join Delaware Elevator?We don't just offer jobs — we offer careers.
