New Account RepresentativeAt Iowa State Bank, our New Account Rep is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers with opening and managing various bank accounts, identify customer needs to recommend suitable products and services, and ensure a positive banking experience while adhering to compliance and regulatory guidelines.Requirements:Provides exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assessing customer needs.Answer questions regarding Bank products and services.Opens new deposit accountsManages customer portfolio, services relationships and cross sells appropriate products and services to meet customer needs, assuring customer satisfaction, and achieving personal and retail sales goalsMakes appropriate customer referrals to other Bank functional areasEffectively handles more complex customer problems and inquiries as well as ensuring that resolution and follow-up are completed in an accurate and timely matterDaily account maintenance with no or limited errorsHandle customer transactions including but not limited to: account deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashing checks, check deposit hold, cash advances, stop payments, gift cards, and issue Cashier's ChecksAnswers telephone calls to assist customers with questions or requestsPerform teller duties (customer service rep)Perform bookkeeping functions including proofing, balancing, and processing of checks and bank ticketsMay be asked to travel to other branch locations to assist in new account duties as needed to ensure adequate coverageQualifications:Strong customer service and communication skillsProficiency with software and computer systemsExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamLive in or involved in the Sheldon marketFull Time Benefits to include:Health InsuranceDental InsuranceVision Insurance401(k) with Employer matchPaid STD, LTD, and Life InsurancePaid Time OffVolunteer Time OffParental LeaveHoliday Pay
