About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist to provide high-quality teletherapy services to students and/or clients throughout Nevada. This remote position offers flexibility while allowing you to make a meaningful impact by helping individuals improve their communication, language, and swallowing abilities through evidence-based virtual interventions.
The ideal candidate is technology-savvy, highly organized, and passionate about delivering exceptional therapy services in a virtual environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual speech-language evaluations and assessments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and client needs.
- Provide engaging, evidence-based teletherapy sessions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and reports.
- Collaborate with families, educators, healthcare providers, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings when applicable.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Ensure compliance with Nevada state regulations, professional standards, and HIPAA requirements.
- Utilize teletherapy platforms and digital resources effectively.
QualificationsRequired
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active Nevada Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association preferred or required depending on assignment.
- Minimum of one year of clinical or school-based experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and dedicated workspace.
- Ability to pass applicable background checks.
Preferred
- Previous teletherapy experience.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings.
- Familiarity with IEP development and special education processes.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
