We are seeking a skilled Neurosurgeon to join a collaborative surgical team in Sacramento, California. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing acute neurosurgical cases presenting through the Emergency Department or transfer center. The position focuses on providing consultative services for inpatients, with involvement in some trauma cases, and performing necessary operations in collaboration with experienced ED physicians, hospitalists, and a well-supported ICU team.
Compensation: $2500 Per Shift
Key Responsibilities
- Provide neurosurgical consultation for inpatients and acute admissions
- Manage trauma and urgent neurosurgical cases as needed
- Perform surgical procedures in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
- Ensure high-quality patient care while maintaining patient safety
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Participate in operational and clinical decision‑making to optimize outcomes
