Neurosurgery (Brain)

Overview

The Neuroscience Institute at Memorial Healthcare System is expanding its surgical neuro-oncology and skull-based services by adding an additional BE/BC neurosurgeon to its team. Those with training, special interest, and/or expertise in cranial surgery are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will join a team of adult and pediatric neurosurgeons, neurointerventionalists, medical neurologists with dedicated areas of expertise, and a team of clinical mid-level professionals. General neurosurgery call is required. Fellowship in neurosurgical-oncology or skull base is preferred.

Responsibilities

Remain actively involved in clinical neurosurgery within the neurosciences institute, participate in multidisciplinary patient care, and contribute to surgical management of brain tumors and skull-base conditions as part of a care-team approach.

Qualifications

BE/BC neurosurgeon. Fellowship in Neurosurgical-oncology or skull base is preferred.

Benefits

This is a full-time employed position with the multispecialty Memorial Physician Group. Benefits are competitive and compensation is commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity.
