Sanford Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible neurosurgeon to join their team of providers. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on patients' lives within a Level II Trauma Center and Primary Plus Stroke Center. The successful candidate will join a supportive administration and an established Pain Management Team, benefiting from a broad referral base in Western North Dakota.

Responsibilities
- Perform history and physical examination
- Admit patients (if applicable to setting)
- Evaluate, diagnose, consult, and provide nonoperative care
- Provide pre-, intra-, and postoperative care to patients of all ages except neonatal
- Address injuries or disorders of the central, peripheral, and autonomic nervous systems, including their supporting structures and vascular supply

Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Successful completion of a hospital affiliated Neurological Surgery residency program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
- Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
- If not board certified at the time of application but completed residency training within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training
- Ability to demonstrate at least 50 neurosurgical procedures in the last 12 months (for applicants not applying directly out of residency)
