This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive neurological care, including pre-, intra-, and postoperative management, to a diverse patient population. The position also includes an academic appointment at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences, with opportunities for research and medical education.

Responsibilities
- Perform history and physical examination.
- Admit, evaluate, diagnose, and consult patients.
- Provide nonoperative, and pre-, intra-, and postoperative care to patients of all ages except neonatal.
- Treat injuries or disorders of the central, peripheral, and autonomic nervous systems, including their supporting structures and vascular supply.

Shift & Schedule
- Minimal call.
- 300 operative cases per year.
Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurosurgeon.
- Fellowship-trained in spine neurosurgery.
- Successful completion of a hospital-affiliated Neurological Surgery residency program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada.
- If not board certified at the time of application but completed residency within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training.
- Ability to demonstrate at least 50 neurosurgical procedures in the last 12 months (for applicants not applying directly out of residency).
