Valley Baptist Physician Network is seeking a Neurosurgeon to join their team at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, TX. This is a unique opportunity to be the region's only neurosurgeon at a DNV Comprehensive Stroke Center, offering immediate patient volume and a fully integrated neuro team. Practice Info
- Solo neurosurgeon with a fully built-out neuro infrastructure including two endovascular neurologists, two neurohospitalists, outpatient neurology (general, epilepsy, stroke), and two physiatrists
- Operate within a 586-bed ACS Verified Level II Trauma Center
- Equipped with cutting-edge technology including Brainlab, AIRO, and da Vinci robotics
- Dedicated interdisciplinary team of endovascular neurologists, neurohospitalists, and physiatrists
- Clinic located in the professional building directly attached to Valley Baptist Medical Center - Harlingen
- State-of-the-art 14-bed Neuro ICU
Responsibilities
- Approximately two clinic days per week
- See 15-20 patients per day in clinic
- Perform surgery days as needed with block OR time available
- Take 10 days/month of paid primary call plus 10 backup call days
Compensation
- Competitive base salary plus production bonuses
- Paid call compensation at $2,800 per day

Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school
- Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurosurgery residency
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
- Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one
- J-1 and H-1B visa sponsorship available
