Programmer Analyst 3Working Title: Neurosciences Data SpecialistPosition Grade: 14Position Summary: See the Position Description for additional information.Conditions of Employment: Specialty licensure/certification may be required, as specified by the department. Successful candidate may be subject to a criminal background check prior to starting work.Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree; at least 2 years of progressively responsible experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution and/or experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified may be interchangeable on a year-for-year basis.Preferred Qualifications: Programming fluency in Python, R, SQL, and/or other programming language(s).

Experience with software version control and use of Git-based tools.

Experience with managing and curating large, complex datasets. Excellent communication skills to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.

Experience using electronic lab notebooks, such as LabArchives.

Experience working in a research or academic setting.
