Neuroradiologist

The Department of Radiology at Northwell Health is actively seeking board certified/eligible Neuroradiologists to join their team across a diverse network of facilities in New York. Providers will have opportunities to perform routine and advanced neuroimaging exams and procedures in both in-person and hybrid settings. Practice Info

• Network of facilities including Cohen Children's Medical Center, Mather Hospital, North Shore University Hospital & LIJ Medical Center, Northern Westchester Hospital, and Staten Island University Hospital
• In-person and hybrid work settings
• Sub-specialties available including Head and Neck Imaging, Pediatric Neuroimaging, and Dementia/Brain PET Neuroimaging
• Team of close to 250 radiologists performing more than 2 million medical scans each year

Responsibilities

• Perform routine neuroimaging exams
• Perform advanced MRI and CT imaging of the brain, spine, head, and neck
• Conduct Diffusion Tensor Imaging (DTI) and functional MRI (fMRI)
• Perform perfusion imaging (CTP, MRP)
• Conduct MR spectroscopy
• Perform LPs, myelograms and intrathecal chemotherapy
• Execute post-processing and 3D reconstruction

Requirements

• D. or D.O. degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (BE/BC) in Diagnostic Radiology
• Completion of Neuroradiology Fellowship
• Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in New York
