Neuroradiologist

Northwell Health is seeking board-certified or eligible Neuroradiologists to join its growing Department of Radiology. This role offers diverse practice settings, including in-person, hybrid, and remote options across various facilities. The position provides extensive opportunities to perform advanced imaging exams and procedures within a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

Practice Info

• Practice across a diverse network of facilities, including Cohen Children's Medical Center, Mather Hospital, North Shore University Hospital & LIJ Medical Center, Northern Westchester Hospital, and Staten Island University Hospital.
• Opportunities for IN-PERSON, HYBRID, and REMOTE work.
• Sub-specialties include Head and Neck Imaging, Pediatric Neuroimaging, and Dementia/Brain PET Neuroimaging.
• Support resident education at Mather Hospital, North Shore University Hospital, and LIJ Medical Center.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine neuroimaging exams.
• Perform advanced MRI and CT imaging of the brain, spine, head, and neck.
• Perform Diffusion Tensor Imaging (DTI) and functional MRI (fMRI).
• Perform Perfusion imaging (CTP, MRP).
• Perform MR spectroscopy.
• Perform LP's, myelograms, and intrathecal chemotherapy.
• Perform post-processing and 3D reconstruction.

Compensation

• Nationally competitive salaries.
• Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125,000 to $750,000, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience, and productivity.

Shift & Schedule

• Four weeks' vacation plus paid conference/CME time.

Requirements

• MD. or D.O. degree.
• BE/BC in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Completion of Neuroradiology Fellowship.
• Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in New York.
