Neuroradiologist

Northwell Health is seeking board-certified/eligible Neuroradiologists to join their growing Department of Radiology. This opportunity offers diverse practice settings across multiple facilities, including in-person and hybrid roles. The position involves performing routine and advanced neuroimaging exams, contributing to comprehensive diagnostic and interventional services within a large health system.

Practice Info

• Diverse network of facilities, including Cohen Children’s Medical Center, Mather Hospital, North Shore University Hospital & LIJ Medical Center, Northern Westchester Hospital, and Staten Island University Hospital
• Opportunities in neuroradiology sub-specialties: Head and Neck Imaging, Pediatric Neuroimaging, Dementia/Brain PET Neuroimaging
• Support resident education at Mather Hospital, North Shore University Hospital & LIJ Medical Center
• Close to 250 radiologists performing more than 2 million medical scans each year

Responsibilities

• Perform routine neuroimaging exams
• Perform advanced imaging exams and procedures including Advanced MRI and CT imaging of the brain, spine, head, and neck
• Perform Diffusion Tensor Imaging (DTI) and functional MRI (fMRI)
• Perform Perfusion imaging (CTP, MRP)
• Perform MR spectroscopy
• Perform LP’s, myelograms and intrathecal chemotherapy
• Perform Post-processing and 3D reconstruction

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree
• BE/BC in Diagnostic Radiology
• Completion of Neuroradiology Fellowship
• Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in New York
