Neuroradiologist

The Department of Radiology at Northwell Health is actively seeking board certified or board eligible Neuroradiologists to join our growing team across a diverse network of facilities in New York. Physicians will have the opportunity to engage in routine and advanced neuroimaging exams and procedures within a compassionate, patient-centered environment. Practice Info

• Practice across a diverse network of in-person and hybrid facilities, including Cohen Children's Medical Center, Mather Hospital, North Shore University Hospital & LIJ Medical Center, Northern Westchester Hospital, and Staten Island University Hospital.
• Opportunities within neuroradiology sub-specialties such as Head and Neck Imaging, Pediatric Neuroimaging, and Dementia/Brain PET Neuroimaging.
• Environment offering comprehensive screening, diagnostic, and interventional services in a compassionate, patient-centered setting.
• Team comprising close to 250 radiologists performing more than 2 million medical scans each year.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced neuroimaging exams and procedures, including advanced MRI and CT imaging of the brain, spine, head, and neck.
• Conduct Diffusion Tensor Imaging (DTI) and functional MRI (fMRI).
• Perform perfusion imaging (CTP, MRP) and MR spectroscopy.
• Perform LPs, myelograms, and intrathecal chemotherapy.
• Execute post-processing and 3D reconstruction.

Requirements

• MD/DO degree.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (BE/BC) in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Completion of Neuroradiology Fellowship.
• Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in New York.
• Open to visa sponsorship.
