Neuroradiologist

Northwell Health is seeking board-certified/eligible Neuroradiologists to join their growing Department of Radiology. This opportunity offers diverse practice settings across multiple facilities, including both in-person and hybrid models. The role involves performing routine and advanced neuroimaging exams and procedures within a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

Practice Info

• Diverse network of facilities, including Cohen Children's Medical Center, Mather Hospital, North Shore University Hospital & LIJ Medical Center, Northern Westchester Hospital, and Staten Island University Hospital
• Opportunities for in-person and hybrid work models
• Support resident education at Mather Hospital, North Shore University Hospital, and LIJ Medical Center
• Sub-specialties available include Head and Neck Imaging, Pediatric Neuroimaging, and Dementia/Brain PET Neuroimaging
• Part of New York state's largest health system with close to 250 radiologists performing over 2 million medical scans annually

Responsibilities

• Perform routine neuroimaging exams
• Perform advanced MRI and CT imaging of the brain, spine, head, and neck
• Conduct Diffusion Tensor Imaging (DTI) and functional MRI (fMRI)
• Execute Perfusion imaging (CTP, MRP)
• Perform MR spectroscopy
• Conduct LPs, myelograms, and intrathecal chemotherapy
• Perform post-processing and 3D reconstruction

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (BE/BC) in Diagnostic Radiology
• Completion of Neuroradiology Fellowship
• Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in New York
