Position Overview
The Cleveland Clinic's Neurological Institute Department of Psychiatry and Psychology is seeking neuropsychiatrists to work in the Cleveland, Ohio and Weston, Florida locations. The department is expanding services in epilepsy, brain health (neurodegenerative disorders), multiple sclerosis, stroke, and movement disorders, and will benefit from a state‑of‑the‑art Neurologic Institute building opening in January 2027.
Locations
- Cleveland, Ohio – main campus and regional hospitals of Northeast Ohio
- Weston, Florida – quaternary care center on the Treasure Coast
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical neuropsychiatric care across key specialties at Cleveland and Weston sites.
- Collaborate with the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology and nationally renowned Neurology centers.
- Conduct inpatient and outpatient evaluations, and participate in the Psychiatric Resistant Program (including ECT, TMS, DBS, ketamine, and psychedelic trials).
- Deliver telepsychiatry consultations to other Cleveland Clinic hospitals in South Florida.
- Act as a faculty member for adult psychiatry training programs and oversee the Consultation Liaison (CL) and Behavioral Neurology & Neuropsychiatry (BNNP) fellowships.
- Participate in interdisciplinary clinical research within the new Neurologic Institute building.
Qualifications
- Board‑certified in Psychiatry.
- Adult psychiatrists with BNNP or CL fellowship training are highly desired.
- Psychiatry and neurology dual‑trained clinicians are also highly desirable.
- Strong interest in the neuropsychiatric specialties outlined above.
Appointment
Position includes an appointment at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine (CCLCM).
Compensation and Benefits
Minimum salary: $275,000. Maximum salary: $403,000. The stated range reflects nationally recognized benchmarks and will be determined in accordance with fair market value. Comprehensive benefits include healthcare, dental, vision, retirement, and other offerings.
