Overview

Responsibilities
- Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, reporting changes promptly
- Administer medications, monitor therapeutic responses, and respond to adverse events
- Perform procedures and clinical monitoring per provider orders
- Document all care and interventions thoroughly in the patients medical record
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on conditions, treatments, medications, and follow-up care
- Anticipate and respond to patient needs to ensure high-quality care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
Required:
- 1 year of RN experience in any setting (Home Health, LTAC, Skilled Nursing, Outpatient Rehab, Corrections; acute care not required)
- Florida RN license or approved multistate RN license (Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain Florida license)
- Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience in neurology or neuroscience care settings
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Hourly pay: $30.69-$43.20 based on experience
- Shift Differentials: Nights $4.25/hr; Weekends $3.00/hr
- Sign-On Bonus: $15k for Day Shifts; $25k for Night Shifts
