Position Overview:
We are seeking a Neurologist for hospital-based locum tenens coverage in Richmond, Indiana. The provider must be available for the full initial December assignment and should be comfortable managing acute neurological conditions and performing the required clinical procedures.
Required Qualifications:

• Active Indiana medical license
  
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
  
• If Board Eligible, certification must be obtained within 5 years of completing residency
  
• More than 2 years of clinical experience
  
• Current flu vaccination or qualifying exemption
  
• Current COVID-19 vaccination or qualifying exemption
  

Required Clinical Skills:
The provider should be experienced and comfortable performing the following:

• Thrombolytic therapy for stroke
  
• EEG
  
• EMG
  
• Spinal/paraspinal/epidural blocks
  
• Brain death examination
  
• Lumbar puncture
  
• Subdural taps
  

Additional Skills:
Experience with the following is preferred but not required :

• Nerve biopsy
  
• Muscle biopsy
  
• NCV testing
  
• Botulinum toxin administration
  
• Evoked potentials
  
• Peripheral nerve blocks
