Locums - Colorado, Telemedicine Neurology Opening (IMLC Accepted)

Clinical Role

• Telemedicine Neurology coverage across multiple affiliated sites
• 100% remote coverage for facilities in Colorado and Kansas
• Stroke alerts and General Neurology consults
• ED and inpatient consultations
• Approximately 12-15 consults per day, including acute stroke care
• Immediate coverage need due to physician leave

Open Coverage

• October 2026: 4-5, 7, 16, 19-20, 22, 31
• November 2026: 22-23, 26-28, 30
• December 2026: 3, 5-6, 18, 21, 23-25, 28-29, 31
• 24-hour call: 7:00 am-7:00 am
• Candidates must be available for most of the listed dates

Practice Setting & Clinical Expectations

• Telehealth-only coverage
• Stroke alerts and General Neurology consults via on-call service
• Stroke alert response time: 5 minutes
• General Neurology consult response time: 15 minutes
• No additional support staff
• Epic EMR

EMR Training

• Required Epic learning modules must be completed before virtual EMR training
• Virtual EMR training must be completed at least 1 week before the first shift
• First-day information is released after required EMR modules and training are completed

Requirements & Credentialing

• Board certification in Neurology required
• Active Colorado and Kansas licenses or active IMLC with LOQ in hand at presentation
• BLS and ACLS required
• DEA required for credentialing
• Transferred DEA may be considered but must remain active for the duration of the assignment
• Candidates must acknowledge that coverage includes both stroke alerts and Neurology consults for ED and inpatient patients
