McLaren Northern Michigan is seeking a Locum Neurology Physician for coverage beginning November 2026 .
Position Details- Specialty: Neurology
- Location: Petoskey, Michigan
- Assignment Type: Locum Tenens
- Shift Type: 24-hour coverage
- Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
- Inpatient Call: 24/7, beginning and ending at 8:00 AM
- Weekend Call: 24-hour call, 8:00 AM 8:00 AM
- Patient Volume: Approximately 6 8 patients per day
- EMR: Cerner
- Outpatient clinic hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 1:00 PM 3:00 PM
- Clinic appointments occur within the 8-hour onsite day
- Provide onsite hospital coverage when there are no outpatient appointments or when clinic is not scheduled for the full day
- Provide inpatient neurology coverage and rounding
- Provide after-hours call coverage
- Perform EEG reads for both inpatient and outpatient cases as needed
- Radiologic exam interpretation
- Lumbar puncture (spinal tap)
- EEG
- Brain death examination
- Evoked potentials
- Start date: November 2026
